Lewisburg, PA. A vision of 600 riders with bicycles of varying tire widths. A *crisssp* fall morning. 120 miles on tap for some, 90 miles for others, and 60 or 30 miles for the rest through some of the most scenic and historic gravel roads of central Pennsylvania. That’s crazy talk. It’ll never happen.
“If you build it, they will come.” And indeed they did in race-selling-out numbers for the inaugural unPAved of the Susquehanna River Valley
My only regret is that I didn’t have a bicycle with me to knock out some of these beautiful roads, but I had the distinct pleasure of driving the course with Annemarie of Adventure Scout Media and collecting megatons of media. And Peter Bakken of Keystone Photo was out making great work on the loops far away from where we were on the course: Keystone Photo’s Link to unPAved 2018
When this ride goes opens up next year, don’t sit back and wait to register.
