*Cue the Cheer’s intro song*
“Come around here often?”
“Yeah, bout once a year.”
“Does it always seem to snow?”
“Yep. Always. Hey, you done with that cheeze spreadz? My pork roast is getting cold over here.”
Ahh, Iron Cross. Seems to be just an excuse to meet everyone over again at Larry’s Tavern at the top of the run-up. This year was no different, with a sold out attendance and some epically appropriate fall weather, we found ourselves all over the woods around Williamsport, PA. Starting with a literal bang from a cannon parked along side of the road, the riders looked forward to 100km worth of the best ‘roads’ available, and a shite-load of climbing. Some even climbed extra, but they were not awarded any bonus points for following that jeep trail down the mountain. Well, hey – we’re all winners here, especially being able to spend such a great Sunday outside with each other.
